Petite étape de « repos » imprévue à Santa Maria. Nous sortons du supermarché pour découvrir….que la remorque de Jarrah a disparue !!
La police essaie en vain de la retrouver, malgré les images des caméras de surveillance. Richard, parfait inconnu client du supermarché, insiste pour nous conduire et nous accueillir dans sa grande maison, on est complètement atterrés.
Le lendemain, après avoir commandé une nouvelle remorque qui coûte un bras, l’officier Francisco Rodriguez, alors en repos et en balade avec sa femme, retrouve notre voleur, notre remorque et nous la restitue. Incroyable, ce sont nos héros du jour 😍
Nous allons peut-être enfin pouvoir reprendre la route….avec de nouveaux doudous pour Jarrah 😔
Here we are in Santa Maria for some unplanned « days rest ». After some food shopping, we get out of the local Walmart to discover that…Jarrah’s trailer is gone !!
The police vainly tried to find it back despite the shop’s camera records.
Richard, a complete stranger who was shopping here too, drove us and have been hosting us in his big house since then. We are totally distressed.
The next day, we order a new very expensive trailer, and just after, Officer Francisco Rodriguez, who’s off-duty and hanging out with his wife, spots our thief with our trailer, so they decide to drive to us and give it back to us. We can’t believe it, they’re our heroes 😍
Maybe we’ll finally be able to get back on track…with new fluffy toys for Jarrah 😔
